Lab Manager – HVAC Testing & Validation

Job Summary
Lab Manager to lead HVAC testing and validation activities for new product development. Responsible for overseeing the HVAC testing laboratory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards, supervising test setup, calibration, safety, and reporting, and driving lab performance. Leads root-cause analysis and corrective actions for performance deviations, collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams, supports customer witness testing, ensures EHS compliance, and develops engineers/technicians/customers through training. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC engineering and 7–10+ years in HVAC testing with at least 3 years in a supervisory role; strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in English and Thai.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering
- 7–10+ years of experience in HVAC testing/laboratory environment
- Minimum 3 years in supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and testing methodologies
- Experience with performance testing, instrumentation, and diagnostics
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English and Thai
