Job Summary
Plan and coordinate fiscal functions for Southcoast Health laboratories, including compiling, analyzing, and recommending operating and capital budgets. Manage fiscal forecasts, audits, labor productivity, and expenses while tracking the profitability of the system-wide outreach program. Oversee laboratory work queue management and lead regulatory compliance activities, including CAP preparation and State and Federal Regulatory Compliance. Assist with planning and overseeing laboratory projects. Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology with MT (ASCP) or CLS certification, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and five years of healthcare facility experience with three years of leadership. Full-time role with competitive pay ranging from $90,916.80 to $131,185.60 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology with certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA)
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer systems, management information systems, and related software
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting principles including ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and develop business plans for capital equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in management of laboratory quality improvement programs
- MT(ASCP) or CLS (NCA) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration or other related field
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare facility with at least three (3) years of leadership experience
