Job Summary
Plan and coordinate fiscal functions for Southcoast Health laboratories, including compiling, analyzing, and recommending operating and capital budgets. Manage system-wide fiscal forecasts, audits, labor productivity monitoring, and expense tracking while analyzing the profitability of outreach programs and work queue management. Oversee regulatory compliance activities such as CAP preparation and State and Federal Regulatory Compliance. Assist with planning and overseeing laboratory projects. Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology with MT(ASCP) or CLS certification, a Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration, and five years of healthcare facility experience with three years of leadership. Fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt by signed statement.
Required Qualifications
- A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology
- certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA)
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer systems
- management information systems
- related software
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting principles
- ability to prepare and interpret financial reports
- develop business plans for capital equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in management of laboratory quality improvement programs
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare facility
- at least three (3) years of leadership experience
- MT(ASCP) or CLS (NCA) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
