Job Summary
Lab Engineer to develop and operate state-of-the-art capture systems for AI-powered wearable devices. Partner with research scientists, hardware/software engineers, and cross-functional teams to build and run high-volume capture systems for AI research; responsibilities include researching, implementing, and upgrading capture systems, calibration, system upgrades, and data transfer; experience with multi-camera capture, depth sensors, IMUs, and assembling data in a unified capture system; collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and researchers to ensure project coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must-Have Skills: 1 Proficient in Linux and Windows, command line, production capture setting, multi-camera systems, depth sensors, IMUs, data collection in unified capture system.
- Must-Have Skills: 2 Debugging, profiling, troubleshooting software/hardware, joint hardware/software design and integration, problem-solving with a can-do attitude.
- Must-Have Skills: 3 Curiosity, rapid learning, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Research, Product Design, external clients.
