Lab Dispatcher

Job Summary
Dispatch all orders to field service personnel within fifteen minutes of entry, controlling case completion, pickup, and processing per policy. Review, organize, and distribute assignments to on-duty Phlebotomists while conducting full tracking and follow-up throughout the shift. Prepare daily work printouts, re-route cases if necessary, and communicate verbally with management, customer service, and courier services to ensure service delivery. Accommodate facility special requests, expedite urgent cases, and provide detailed written documentation for issues or troubleshooting. Notify the Dispatch Manager immediately of uncontrolled problems. Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with attendance issues and handling high-volume phone calls from facilities and phlebotomists.
Required Qualifications
- Reside within 50 miles of the Horsham, Pennsylvania office located at 101 Rock Road, Horsham, PA 19044
- High School Graduate or GED
- Proficient to expert use of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to communicate clearly, both in listening and confirming the message received, and in relaying clearly all necessary information to ensure effective response
- Ability to focus on the task at-hand in a busy, call center environment
- Must have private workspace, free from external sounds and distractions
- Must meet safety checklist requirements
- Must have high speed internet connection to support VoIP communications
- Fiber or Cable is recommended
- Must successfully pass TridentCare's Network Performance Test
- Must have access to a PC that can run this test
- Not Chromebook
