Lab Dispatcher

Job Summary
Dispatch all orders for services to field personnel within fifteen minutes of entry, utilizing Nextel/Motorola/Blackberry tools and common knowledge of coverage areas to organize and distribute cases to scheduled Phlebotomists. Control and oversee case completion, tracking assignments daily, re-routing as necessary, and providing assistance to ensure efficient service to facilities. Communicate verbally with Area Management, Stat Tracking, Customer Service, and Courier services to resolve issues, while documenting problems, conducting troubleshooting, and notifying the Dispatch Manager of uncontrollable situations. Accommodate facility special requests and expedite urgent laboratory orders to maintain excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Reside within 50 miles of the Columbus, OH Office at 2550 Corporate Exchange Drive, 43231
- High School Graduate or GED
- Proficient to expert use of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to communicate clearly, both in listening and confirming the message received, and in relaying clearly all necessary information to ensure effective response
- Ability to focus on the task at-hand in a busy, call center environment
- Must have private workspace, free from external sounds and distractions
- Must meet safety checklist requirements
- Must have high speed internet connection to support VoIP communications
- Fiber or Cable is recommended
- Must successfully pass TridentCare's Network Performance Test
- Must have access to a PC that can run this test
