Job Summary
Oversee undergraduate research assistants with study development, data collection/management, statistical analysis, and reporting. Recruit and schedule participants while maintaining a participant family database and coordinating relationships with local collaboration sites like children's museums. Implement online and in-person studies, including preregistration, IRB submissions, and study programming, while running participants through experiments. Conduct literature searches, assist with conference abstracts and manuscript preparation, and support a positive research group culture. This on-campus position at Wesleyan University offers authorship opportunities, conference attendance, and professional development. Funding is approved for one year with extension potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Prior research experience in psychological science
- General computer skills and statistical software experience (such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, R, Qualtrics)
- Exceptional organizational skills
