Lab Coordinator - Full Time (All Shifts)

Job Summary
Oversee daily Pharmacokinetics Lab operations by directing workflow, distributing tasks to technicians, and ensuring proper sample processing and documentation. Manage blood and urine areas to prevent protocol violations while auditing logs for clerical errors and verifying sample presence at study intervals. Pack and ship specimens to clients and other labs in compliance with PPD policies and safety regulations. Act as the lab liaison for specific studies, communicating with Study Teams, Project Managers, and clients to ensure protocol adherence. Maintain equipment records, evaluate lab processes for improvements, and recommend alternative systems to enhance performance quality.
Required Qualifications
- High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Technical positions may require a certificate
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of human physiology and metabolism
- Knowledge of lab instrumentation and testing procedures
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Good time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under constant exposure to high pressure, intense concentration
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- Standing for full shift
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
- Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms
