Lab Calibration Engineer

Job Summary
Manage the laboratory calibration program for HW Environmental validation equipment, ensuring zero overdue calibrations and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 aligned systems. Evaluate and approve calibration suppliers based on technical competence and traceability requirements, while reviewing certificates to verify compliance and measurement uncertainty. Support equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and validation activities, including environmental chamber calibrations and uncertainty evaluations. Develop laboratory procedures, analyze calibration results to identify trends, and conduct root cause investigations for measurement discrepancies. Participate in internal and external audits, generate KPIs and reports, and support laboratory 6S and EHS initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electronics, or related field)
- Physics, Metrology or Applied Sciences
- 3+ years of experience in: Calibration laboratories
- 3+ years of experience in: Metrology
- 3+ years of experience in: ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environments
- 3+ years of experience in: Environmental, reliability, or validation laboratories
- Audit participation (Internal or External)
- Calibration management software
- Technical Knowledge: ISO/IEC 17025 requirements

- Intermediate English proficiency (written & verbal), with the ability to understand and participate in technical and business conversations
- Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only OR domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office where the regional validation laboratory is located
Desired Qualifications
- ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
- Metrology or Measurement Science certifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt
