Job Summary
Support the cell culture platform by maintaining iPSC-derived cells and performing molecular biology assays including DNA/RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, and ELISA. Manage in vivo studies with CROs and academic collaborators through shipment coordination and sample inventory control while maintaining electronic laboratory notebooks and presenting data to the team. Critically assess experimental data and train new members on equipment, protocols, and safety procedures. Requires 2+ years of lab experience in iPSC-derived cells and disease models, with a neuroscience background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years lab experience in IPSC derived cells, disease models
- Expertise in basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology
- Assay development in cell lines, primary neurons and iPSC-derived cells
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organization skills
- Initiative
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding and experience working with AAVs
- Neuroscience background
