Job Summary
Lab Associate III performs duties in support of laboratory quality control and patient specimens, including QA tasks for waived and moderate complexity testing, operation and basic troubleshooting of analyzers, handling and processing specimens, and post-analytic tasks such as report distribution, within a per diem/casual schedule at Sutter Health (San Francisco).
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2 years recent relevant laboratory experience
- Knowledge of standard laboratory principles and procedures
- Experience with waived and moderate complexity testing
- Ability to handle and process biological specimens
- Ability to follow local/state/federal regulations and safety/privacy standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
