LAB ASSISTANT- Rotating day shifts w/ rotating weekends/holidays

Collect blood samples from patients, process and transport specimens following standard operating procedures, and accurately input registration information into the EMR. Safely draw blood on all patient types, perform EKGs, and manage outpatient test orders by faxing reports, scanning documents, and entering diagnosis codes. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of purchased supplies, ensure correct patient identification using two identifiers, and collect labeled specimens. Adhere to safety protocols, maintain confidentiality of department data, and complete tasks based on priority in the assigned work area. Requires phlebotomy certification and minimum two years of experience preferred.
