Job Summary
Performs phlebotomy procedures for inpatients and outpatients with accuracy and compassion; labels and transports blood specimens according to standards; supports lab staff with daily tasks; maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety and compliance requirements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a phlebotomy training program or equivalent experience, and preferred phlebotomy certification; prior experience in a clinical lab setting is preferred.
