Job Summary
Phlebotomist sought to join the Memorial Regional Medical Center Lab team. Responsibilities include drawing quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, completing clerical duties, order entry, result look-up, report generation, and answering internal/external calls in a friendly manner. Must identify patients accurately, manage specimen labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as per test orders, maintain inventory, and support routine clerical tasks. Education: High School Degree or GED; Phlebotomist certification preferred but not required. Experience in phlebotomy preferred; strong customer service skills and professional conduct with patients and staff are expected. Travel to off-site locations may be required.
