Job Summary
Provide skilled specimen collection via venipuncture and capillary sticks; receive and process samples, and distribute in-house tests to appropriate benches. Perform clerical tasks including data entry and telephone reception, and operate lab equipment with strong attention to detail. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and the ability to stay poised in stressful situations while ensuring patient safety and quality specimen handling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Graduation from Phlebotomist Tech training program
- Certified Phlebotomist Tech 1 (California)
- Minimum one (1) year phlebotomy experience
