Lab Assistant-Outpatient Clinic(Tiffany Springs)

Register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and billing information under the direction of Clinical Supervisors, Medical Laboratory Scientists, and Lab Coordinators. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages, then properly label, handle, and transport specimens to ensure integrity and accuracy. Communicate effectively with clinical departments to resolve registration or order issues while providing courteous, professional service. Adhere to infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations. Requires high school diploma; 1-2 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
