Job Summary
Lab Assistant-Microbiology at LabCorp in Pensacola, FL. Responsibilities include receiving and sorting clinical lab specimens, preparing specimens for testing, data entry of specimen and patient information, troubleshooting specimen issues, maintaining clean and safe work areas, performing minor instrumentation maintenance, replenishing supplies, following SOPs to ensure safety and quality, and completing administrative duties. Requires comfort handling biological specimens, basic computer/data entry skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment, and the ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
