Lab Assistant I - Laboratory - Elmer

Provide phlebotomy service on in-house patients, outpatients, and at off-site locations by performing venipuncture and capillary methods on populations ranging from neonate to geriatric. Complete various clerical duties, including entering patient orders in the Laboratory Information System (LIS), and perform specimen processing for the core laboratory. Transport specimens in accordance with laboratory standards while maintaining excellent listening and communication skills. A valid driver's license is required for the Vineland assignment. High school education is required, with phlebotomy training and certification preferred.
