Job Summary
Lab Assistant in Histology performing routine lab duties in a high-volume clinical setting: receive and sort clinical specimens, prepare specimens for testing, data entry of specimen and patient information, ensure equipment functionality with basic instrumentation maintenance, troubleshoot specimen-related issues, replenish test bench supplies, maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards, and support administrative tasks and records logs while working 2nd shift (12pm–8:30pm, Mon-Fri, no weekends).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more clinical or medical industry work experience.
