Job Summary
Conduct daily laboratory testing on herbal and food raw materials and finished products using standard analytical and microbiological methods. Prepare food samples, maintain equipment logs, and manage glassware while adhering to Good Laboratory Practices and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Process vendor qualification documentation for R&D Manager approval and assist with maintaining laboratory documentation and archiving. Submit samples to third-party laboratories when necessary. Requires a bachelor's or associate degree in a scientific discipline with basic computer and laboratory skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or associate degree in a scientific discipline
- at least one year of experience in a laboratory and/or training
- equivalent combinations of education and experience
- basic computer and laboratory skills
- the ability to use the scale
- know how to prepare different concentrations of solutions and powders
- Ability to work with algebraic and statistical formulas
- good communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific literature and analytical SOPs
- Ability to write laboratory reports and other documents
- Ability to present information to company management and staff

Desired Qualifications
