Lab Assistant

Laboratory Assistant (FLOAT) responsible for processing blood samples and other laboratory specimens, data entry and results/requisitions accuracy, and providing empathetic patient service to ensure a positive experience. Duties include obtaining quality blood samples and other specimens using venipuncture, performing ECGs, Holter hookups, paternity, urine, drug and breath alcohol collections, and ensuring specimens and documentation are completed per SOPs for data entry and transport to the lab, while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting quality metrics and regulatory compliance. Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment are required.
