Job Summary
Conduct routine tasks in molecular biology and animal facilities, including solution preparation, plate pouring, sterilization, organization, inventory, and care and feeding of tropical fish used for developmental genetic studies. Assist with on-going research projects involving mutant screens, CRISPR gene perturbation, PCR, and molecular cloning. This entry-level Federal Work-Study position offers flexible scheduling around course schedules. Compensation is $14.60/hr. The role supports the Parichy lab's research on zebrafish and related species.
