Job Summary
Implement analytical or microbial test methods to support product and material release while independently troubleshooting instrument issues. Perform laboratory testing within a good manufacturing practices environment, interpreting data to determine conformance with specifications. Maintain training certifications and propose experimental designs to identify root causes of exception events. Accept responsibility for all data generated and complete assigned tasks by prioritizing the work schedule. Work in multiple laboratory functional areas, adjusting to unforeseen technical obstacles with minimal error. Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience required, or equivalent associate's degree and 4 years of lab experience.

- at least 4 years of lab experience
- at least 7 years of directly related laboratory experience
- Ability to work with general supervision
- Ability to effectively manage their own time

- Ability to participate and contribute to assigned teams
- Ability to perform analytical or microbial test methods
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve analytical techniques and instrument issues
- Ability to interpret experimental data for conformance with product/material specifications
- Ability to understand and identify laboratory techniques or instrumental performance in accordance with scientific principles
- Ability to propose and implement experimental design to determine exception root cause
- Ability to demonstrate logical thought processes in order to determine possible contributors to exception events
- Ability to initiate appropriate exception documents in accordance with procedural requirements
- Ability to work in multiple laboratory functional areas as assigned
- Ability to effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on with minimal error
- Ability to adjust to unforeseen technical or logistical obstacles to accomplish assignments
- Ability to maintain training certifications as needed for assigned job tasks
- Ability to add new training diversification to meet broader team objectives
- Ability to implement, maintain and make changes to create global solutions for a safe work environment and good manufacturing practices in accordance with procedural requirements
- Ability to accept responsibility for all data generated to support material release
