Job Summary
Entry-level Lab Analyst I provides support for routine laboratory operations under supervision. Responsibilities include preparing basic standards and reagents following SOPs, setting up instruments for routine analyses with guidance, performing basic tests, conducting training-related investigations, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking sample progress and timely reporting, performing routine instrument maintenance/calibration with guidance, and assisting senior analysts and supervisors while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining an organized work environment. The role emphasizes developing foundational technical skills, following SOPs, collaboration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced lab setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
