Job Summary
Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured, transports and transfers patients, and assesses the extent of an illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures. Requires a Paramedic License issued by the Kentucky Board of EMS and BCLS, ACLS, PEPP certifications, along with a valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
Required Qualifications
- Paramedic License issued by the Kentucky Board of EMS
- Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
Additional Requirements
