Job Summary
Application Engineer – Inside Sales Technical Support for fluid process equipment. Responsible for preparing proposals and quotes of pumps and mixers to provide technical solutions, learning each supplier's sizing and selection program, developing quotations, entering orders, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers. Collaborates with outside sales Account Managers and inside support staff to maximize profit margins while delivering excellent customer service, and handles warranty issues as needed; onsite in Baton Rouge, LA. Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; equivalent combination of work experience, training and/or technical education will be considered.
- Some inside sales or technical support experience is a plus.
- Fluid process manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
