Job Summary
Drive a company-provided luxury SUV and complete trips on the Uber app while earning a guaranteed hourly wage plus tips. Pick up your vehicle daily for the day, as Alto handles all fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs. Communicate verbally with the Driver Support team, navigate using the Uber app and Google Maps, and assist customers with luggage while lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen. Work flexible shifts up to 45 hours per week with unlimited unpaid time off, receiving weekly pay or on-demand access. Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to drive on the Uber app (no suspensions from the Uber platform)
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Must have a valid California Driver's License with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience in the United States
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have a clean driving record
- Fluent in English
- Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our Driver Support team
- Comfortable with navigational apps (Uber driver app, Google Maps, emails, web browsing)
- Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to sit for extended periods
- E-Verify to confirm your authorization to work in the U.S.
