Job Summary
Design and govern enterprise L2/L3 network architectures, defining operational standards for BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and SDN environments. Lead complex network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution while supporting Cisco Nexus switching and Perle IOLAN infrastructure. Collaborate with security, cloud, and compute teams to ensure end-to-end integration and maintain architecture documentation and governance processes. Requires Swiss citizenship, German B2 proficiency, and CCIE certifications. Located in the Winterthur area.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise and data center network infrastructures
- Deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and high-availability architectures
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, SDN technologies, and modern network design principles
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and data center networking environments
- Familiarity with Perle IOLAN console server solutions and operational management practices
- Proven ability to lead complex technical escalations and architecture engagements
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- German language proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Swiss citizenship
- Based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region

- Cisco CCIE Data Center certification
- Cisco Nexus and Data Center specialist certifications
