Job Summary
Design, implement, and govern enterprise Hardware Security Module (HSM) and cryptographic infrastructure architectures, translating regulatory requirements into secure, auditable operational solutions. Manage the full HSM lifecycle, including provisioning, rotation, backup, recovery, and retirement, while ensuring compliance with standards like PCI-DSS and eIDAS. Lead complex security incidents, cryptographic investigations, and major change activities, defining secure disaster recovery strategies and operational procedures. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to align end-to-end cryptographic security and act as the senior escalation point for infrastructure challenges. Requires German B2 proficiency and Swiss citizenship for local operational alignment, customer interaction, and governance meetings in the Winterthur area.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise HSM and cryptographic environments
- Strong expertise in Thales Luna Network HSMs, key management, PKI, certificate services, and cryptographic operations
- Deep understanding of cryptographic governance, security controls, compliance requirements, and auditing principles
- Experience implementing highly secure, resilient, and operationally sustainable security architectures
- Ability to translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- German language proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Swiss citizenship
- Based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region
