Job Summary
Provide first-level IT support for guest Wi-Fi, connectivity, and telephone issues while attending to guest and internal user complaints promptly. Conduct routine physical checks of network racks, switches, and UPS systems, performing hands-on tasks like RJ45 crimping, cable termination, and LAN testing. Trace physical network faults, replace faulty hardware, and maintain daily digital records of troubleshooting activities and hardware replacements. Follow established IT SOPs, escalate critical outages, and ensure strict confidentiality regarding data security and CCTV access protocols. Work rotational 12-hour shifts with 24/7 coverage in a premium luxury hospitality environment in Mohaan, Uttarakhand.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in IT/Computer Science, BCA, B.Tech. in ECE/CSE, or 3-Year Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics & Communication
- 0–2 years of experience in Desktop Support, Field Network Engineering, IT Helpdesk, or Hotel IT Support
- Freshers with strong practical hands-on networking skills
- Strong practical knowledge of RJ45 crimping and physical network troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of IPv4, Static IP, DHCP, Subnetting, and Default Gateways
- Familiarity with basic CLI diagnostic commands such as ping, ipconfig, tracert, and arp
- Basic knowledge of PoE and network switches
- Understanding of IP-based CCTV systems and Wi-Fi networks
- Basic knowledge of IP telephony and hardware troubleshooting
- Good computer hardware and desktop support skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and a 24/7 operational environment
Desired Qualifications
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent Hardware & Networking certification
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Calm and composed while handling multiple technical issues
- Good spoken Hindi and basic functional English communication skills
- Polite and professional approach while interacting with guests and colleagues
- Good grooming, hygiene, and professional presentation
- High integrity and respect for guest privacy and data security
