Job Summary
Monitor infrastructure services and operational platforms during business hours (8×5). Correlate events and alerts, perform first-level incident triage, and conduct basic troubleshooting. Create, update, route, and manage tickets in accordance with established operational procedures. Escalate incidents and service-impacting events with clear and accurate handover information. Execute routine monitoring, housekeeping, and operational tasks to maintain service stability. Support incident coordination and communication with internal and customer-facing stakeholders. Follow standard operating procedures, operational governance, and service management processes. German language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. Applicants must hold Swiss citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in IT Operations, NOC, Service Desk, Infrastructure Support, or a similar operational environment
- Broad technical understanding of network, server, storage, and infrastructure technologies
- Strong process discipline, attention to detail, and situational awareness
- Ability to work effectively in a structured, operational support environment
- German language proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Swiss citizenship
- Based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL® 4 Foundation certification
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification
- Monitoring/observability platform foundation training
- Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure vendor certifications
