L1/L2 Application Analyst - Global Banking

Job Summary
Act as the first line of contact for the production environment, providing Level 1 and Level 2 functional and technical support. Proactively monitor application components, manage availability and performance across middleware and databases, and coordinate with Level 3, DEV, and Infra teams for root cause analysis and timely resolution. Log incidents with relevant details, liaise with upstream and downstream teams for data flow, and contribute to projects involving updates, upgrades, obsolescence, and migrations. Participate in release cycles for functional validation, execute DRP and BCP exercises, and coordinate infrastructure patching to ensure application stability. Maintain procedure and process documentation while mentoring new joiners to improve team efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor or degree in Computer Science or IT Systems
- Minimum 5 years' of Application Production Support experience
- Excellent experience on systems like Windows, UNIX and Linux
- Excellent knowledge of databases like Oracle and SQL
- Working experience of IT tools like Geneos, ServiceNow, Autosys, Jenkins, Dynatrace etc.
- Working knowledge or familiarity scripting skills Perl, Python and PowerShell
- Working knowledge of file transfer protocols/tools like - CFT, FTP & SFTP
- Flexible in working on public holidays and weekend support
- Flexible in working in different shifts (as required)

- Positive attitude to own existing and new issues in the applications and productions. Find ways to, collaborate to find solutions to the problems
