Job Summary
Lead independent hauler sourcing and onboarding to support final mile delivery operations, including evaluating carriers, developing outreach strategies, and managing contract negotiations. Maintain strong vendor relationships by monitoring KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and implementing corrective actions for service quality. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and insurance requirements while collaborating with operations and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Provide market intelligence on industry trends and regulatory changes to improve sourcing efficiency and cost control. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration and 3+ years of procurement or logistics experience. Salary: $70,000 - $85,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or transportation sourcing, preferably with independent contractors
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and procurement platforms
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in final mile delivery or gig economy logistics
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier compliance standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for broader hauler engagement
