Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages while monitoring and assessing patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates. Administer medications and drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process while floating across all campuses as required. This 13-week travel assignment offers a $2284–$2752 weekly rate for 3x12 night shifts in West Des Moines, IA. Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in setting
- Experience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery care
- C-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triage
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
- AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
