Job Summary
Labor and Delivery travel RN opportunity in Sioux City, IA on a 13-week contract. Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and float to Post-Partum as needed (up to 1-2 shifts/week). Responsibilities include documenting in EPIC EMR and delivering care in a dynamic L&D environment. Requires 2 years of experience in a L&D or similar setting, an Iowa RN license, BLS/ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring certification, NRP, and experience managing high-risk/high-acuity patients in a high-volume delivery center.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery or equivalent setting
- Active Iowa RN license
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS and ACLS certifications
- AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring
- NRP certification
- High-risk and high-acuity experience in a high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month)
- Comfortable floating to Post-Partum
