Job Summary
Birthing Center Supervisor (L&D) for a travel contract in Lamar, CO. Provide interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager, ensuring continuity of operations, staff competency, and compliance with clinical standards. Implement and reinforce policies and procedures, deliver staff education and orientation, validate competencies, and promote safety/quality standards. Act as a clinical and operational resource to staff and leadership during the assignment and participate in the nursing rotation. Requires strong Obstetrics nursing background with leadership experience; bilingual abilities are helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current BLS certification
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM
- STABLE and NRP Instructor certifications
- Minimum of five years of Obstetrics Nursing and Neonatal experience required
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Bi-lingual capabilities helpful
- Need 2 years experience in setting
