Job Summary
KYC Specialist - Associate role within JPMorgan's Wholesale Payments KYC Operations. Responsible for end-to-end KYC onboarding and renewals for Turkish clients, acting as SME and single point of contact with Front Office, Compliance, Legal, and external clients. Will create quality KYC profiles, gather supporting evidence for due diligence, manage workload, and communicate regulatory changes. Requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and familiarity with KYC/AML standards, plus experience using AI tools to support KYC tasks. Location: Istanbul, Türkiye.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Turkish
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in KYC/Compliance/AML
- Strong written and oral communication skills with conflict resolution and risk mitigation
- Resilient interpersonal skills and ability to partner with internal stakeholders
- Client-focused with strong controls mindset
- Proactive and flexible with workload and team targets
- Experience with AI tools to support KYC casework (document summarisation, key data extraction, drafting narratives) with appropriate human review
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to stay updated with process changes
- Strong ability to manage time, prioritize and escalate risks as needed
- Experience interacting with Front Office, Compliance, and Quality Control teams
- Experience onboarding new customers and renewing KYC records
- Fluency in Turkish; willingness to work in Istanbul and in Turkish market context
