Job Summary
The KYC Onboarding Compliance Officer at Julius Baer is responsible for reviewing and approving all High and Highest client relationships, portfolios, and accounts in Bank Julius Baer Singapore. This role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing client onboarding processes, and overseeing compliance with internal and external regulations. Key responsibilities include assessing the adequacy of Source of Wealth narratives, managing client exit processes for AML/CFT reasons, and providing advice on KYC/CDD-related matters. The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of private banking and wealth management, as well as regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in either KYC On-Boarding and AML role in Private Banking/Wealth Management
- Strong knowledge of the MAS 626 Notice & Guidelines
- A good degree and understanding of the Private Banking and Wealth Management industry
- Experience in managing regulatory inspections, external and/or internal audits on AML/CFT issues
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
