Job Summary
Conduct team practices, skill development sessions, and tournament preparation while providing instruction in golf fundamentals, swing mechanics, and competitive strategy. Assist the Head Coach in developing individualized training plans, monitoring student-athlete fitness and wellness, and managing tournament-day operations including travel, warm-ups, and course preparation. Build recruiting relationships with high school coaches and junior organizations, oversee equipment management and fundraising, and ensure compliance with institutional policies. This part-time role supports the men's and women's golf program at Kennebec Valley Community College, fostering academic success and leadership among student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Successful coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
