KVAC Field Technician

Job Summary
KVAC Field Technician needed to support Halton’s service network. Key duties include completing start-ups on Halton equipment, attending pre-commissioning meetings, owner/operator training, CARE visits, promoting monitoring and maintenance contracts, field troubleshooting, coordinating with Sales on large project calls, and writing detailed job-site reports. Must understand electrical theory and controls, be capable of traveling up to 48 weeks annually, assist with office tasks when not traveling, and collaborate with the HSN manager on special projects. Requires strong computer skills (MS Office/Teams), knowledge of motors and VFDs, and the ability to interpret technical procedures and communicate with managers, clients, and the public.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience and/or training in electrical/mechanical fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Understanding of electrical theory and controls
- Ability to travel up to 48 weeks per year
- Ability to write detailed reports and communicate with customers
