Kubernetes Platform Engineer – Voice Services Modernization

Job Summary
Assess existing voice applications and design high-availability Kubernetes architectures for low-latency workloads. Containerize middleware and backend applications while building CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible to deploy and support cloud-native platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, and OpenShift. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions, then support migration planning, testing, validation, and production cutovers. Troubleshoot application, platform, and infrastructure issues and develop operational documentation. Partner with development, operations, and architecture teams to modernize legacy services and support production environments and incident response activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience
- Expert-level Kubernetes platform administration experience
- Strong hands-on Ansible role and playbook development experience
- Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code experience
- CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience
- Production cloud platform administration experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack)
- Must currently reside within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA
- Must be able to work onsite 1–2 days per week
