Job Summary
Configure, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for IL environments, ensuring support for ESRI ArcGIS services and integration with agency infrastructure. Develop Helm charts and Operators for automated scaling of Notebook Server and GeoAnalytics Server, while managing persistent volume claims and container-native storage for durability and compliance. Integrate monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus and Fluentd to support observability and reporting across environments. This role supports mission requirements to bridge operational gaps between DoD, IC, and international partners for real-time information sharing and mission-tailored analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field
- five (5) years of equivalent experience in Kubernetes administration
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- troubleshooting containerized applications
- implementing service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- knowledge and capability to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications in a cloud-native environment using Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster orchestration
