Job Summary
Operate studio cameras and audio for newscasts, weather cut-ins, and live productions; manage VMix live video streaming; prep studio sets, microphones, lighting, monitors and tablets for live and prerecorded productions; assist with production of on-air content including commercials, promos, PSAs and syndicated programs; ingest and prep content for on-air playback; monitor video and audio quality; assist with remote productions (parades, community events, pregame shows, sports telecasts); perform master control duties for live events and Cyber/Disaster Recovery-related content; flexible scheduling with varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with cameras, audio mixers and equipment, video switchers, editing systems, routers and monitoring tools
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies including IT based video production and broadcast systems
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required; experience with production and on-air automation programs is a plus
