Job Summary
Caregiver at Sevita providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll build real, meaningful relationships with participants, support them in pursuing community activities, and help them meet personal goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting individuals with complex needs, and communicating effectively with participants, supervisors, and teammates. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance; strong attributes include compassion, reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management. The role is hourly, REM Kansas, with travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
