Job Summary
Conduct power line project design including PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower modeling, configure standard calculation tools, and establish processes for delivering parameters such as transfer capacity, sag, noise, and impedance. Provide technical support for onshore and offshore projects ranging from 10 kV to 525 kV (AC and DC), write technical requirements for power line systems and accessories, and offer customer advisory on conductor selection and test specifications. Deliver engineering services across HV projects in Norway, data center parks, and offshore wind farms in Europe and APAC. This role involves working within an international Power Systems team at Rambøll, a global engineering firm committed to sustainable change and the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of MV- and HV-airline systems including software such as PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower
- Doctorate or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Ability to speak and write Norwegian fluently or at least level B2
- Comfortable with taking responsibility for the scope, including making assumptions and decisions together with customers
