Job Summary
Analyze functional requirements and turn them into real software for mission-critical SaaS applications used by millions of end users. Assist in designing and improving software architecture while building and maintaining a catalogue of reusable, elegant solution patterns and software components. Improve standards and guidelines for using these patterns, participate in daily stand-ups to discuss safety features with the product owner, and take full responsibility for the whole lifecycle of applications including deployments and DevOps. Get training and guidance to become an expert at writing secure software in Kotlin.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience using Kotlin and/or Java 8+ to develop web applications
- Experience using CI/CD, version control, and unit testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge or experience of one or more of the following: Spring Boot, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, GitLab, PostgreSQL, OIDC, SAML, QA, AWS/GCP, Angular, Linux, SCRUM/Kanban
- You enjoy explaining things, discussions, and knowledge sharing
- You'll need to be willing to learn / work in Kotlin
