Job Summary
Korean Language Instructor responsible for conducting Isolation Immersion (ISO) language training in US locations. Duties include teaching Korean to students through participatory listening, speaking, and reading with native speakers, following lesson plans, and collaborating in team-teaching settings. The role requires native-level Korean proficiency, advanced English fluency, the capacity to teach 10–12 hours daily, and physical readiness to perform task-based activities (rock climbing, shooting, hiking up to 5 miles, daily exercise). The instructor should apply strong teaching-methodology knowledge, remain flexible and spontaneous to seize opportunities for instruction, and be able to establish and sustain a live classroom anytime and anywhere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a native speaker of Korean
- Advanced level of fluency in English
- Must be able to teach 10-12 hours a day
- Must be physically able to conduct task-based activities including rock climbing, shooting, hiking 5 miles, daily physical exercise
- Possess a high level of knowledge in teaching methodologies
- Be a team player and work well with other instructors in team-teaching
- Follow lesson plans without supervision
- Be flexible and spontaneous; take advantage of opportunities to teach students
- Must be able to create and sustain a live classroom anytime and anywhere
