Job Summary
Korean Instructor needed for part-time, after-school, on-site instruction in Los Angeles, delivering a 10-session course focused on foundational Korean language skills, basic Hangul introduction where appropriate, and cultural topics. Responsibilities include delivering engaging, interactive lessons that emphasize speaking and listening practice, differentiating instruction for varying language levels, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, coordinating attendance/session tracking with site staff, and guiding students toward a culminating language growth artifact. Qualifications require a minimum of 60 college credits (or an Associate degree in progress/completed), proficiency in Korean for foundational instruction, experience with school-age learners in structured settings, strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to create age-appropriate, engaging activities. Contract position with on-site, in-person instruction at a Los Angeles area school.
Required Qualifications
