Korea External Engagement Lead

Job Summary
Monitor legislative, regulatory, and healthcare policy developments in Korea to assess impacts and provide strategic insights to leadership. Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and policymakers while serving as the primary point of contact for policy discussions. Lead communication strategies for patient advocacy, media engagement, and brand reputation management to promote disease awareness and improve patient access. Oversee internal communication channels and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts with clinical and market access goals. This role requires fluent Korean and deep knowledge of the South Korean healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in MNC pharmaceutical company
- More than 5 years' experience in communications, PAG and GA
- Proven success in communications and patient engagement, particularly treatments
- Strong interpersonal & Good communication skill
- Strategic focus
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, relevant professional standards and best practices
- Understanding of medical background and Clinical Trial Data analysis & evaluation
- Excellent English in speaking and writing
- Fluent in Korean
- In-depth knowledge and expertise of the South Korean healthcare and policy environment
- Strong collaborator who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders
