Job Summary
Prepare and monitor investment budgets within SAP, process and verify purchase invoices for capital assets, and manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets including capitalization, depreciation, and liquidation. Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures by preparing inter-period reconciliations and adjusting journal entries. Collaborate with business units, procurement, and finance on project implementation and audit documentation, ensuring data consistency between SAP FI/AA and the general ledger. Conduct asset inventories and reconcile results while maintaining compliance with accounting policies.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education (preferred fields: finance, accounting, economics or related)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the area of fixed assets accounting, finance or controlling
- Practical knowledge of accounting principles in the area of recording, depreciation and settlement of fixed assets
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferred knowledge of SAP (FI/AA module)
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports and summaries
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel at an intermediate level
- Knowledge of the English language enabling work with documentation and collaboration in an international environment
- Accuracy, thoroughness and good work organization
- Ability to collaborate with various departments of the organization and communication skills
